I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Theoretical Biological Physics, Rice University.
I did my PhD from the Physics Department, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.
I am generally interested in quantitaive understanding of biological systems.
My research uses statistical mechanics, polymer physics, molecular dynamics simulations, and numerical methods to
study aspects of chromosome structure, mechanics, and dynamics at various lengthscales.
I also like to spend time reading, dabbling at painting and playing music, and
whenever possible, travel and photography.
